Porous pipe (reticulation) anti-termite system

A network of perforated or porous pipes laid in the soil during construction, connected to filling points outside the building, so termiticide can be pumped back into the soil years later without drilling your floors.

Is this your problem?

  • New building at plinth stage
  • Marble or costly flooring you never want drilled
  • You want to re-treat the soil in future from outside

What we do

  1. Design the layout

Pipe runs planned from your drawings.

  2. Lay and connect

Pipes laid under the floor and led to filling boxes outside.

  3. Charge and hand over

System filled, tested and handed over with a layout drawing.

Why customers choose Frontier

  • Planned by an MSc entomologist with 17+ years in vector control and public health
  • We identify the pest before we treat, so you pay for what works
  • Written quotation before work, and a written treatment record after
  • Trained team in protective equipment; products used according to the label
  • WhatsApp reply within 30 minutes, 8 AM – 8 PM, every day

Your safety

Food, water and utensils are protected, and you receive written instructions on when rooms can be used again and what precautions to take. Our procedures follow WHO and FAO guidance on public health pesticides. Standards we follow →

Frequently asked questions

How often does the system need refilling?

There is no fixed interval for every building. It depends on the product, soil, moisture and termite pressure. We advise based on inspection and your treatment record.

Is the pipe system enough on its own?

Usually it is combined with soil treatment at foundation and plinth stage. We explain the options in your quotation.

Can it be added to an existing house?

Not under finished floors. Existing buildings are treated by drill-fill-seal.

Is there a guarantee?

Termite treatments include a written guarantee. The guarantee period and its conditions (for example, no structural changes or new soil fill against walls without informing us) are written on your quotation before work begins.

What is a reticulation system?

Pre-construction soil treatment breaks down slowly over time. A reticulation system lets you replenish the treated zone later. Pipes are laid along the inside of the plinth walls and around service entries before the floor is cast, and are brought out to a small box on an outer wall. When re-treatment is needed, termiticide is pumped into the pipes and spreads into the surrounding soil.

Who it suits

  • New houses and buildings at plinth stage.
  • Owners with marble, tiles or expensive flooring they do not want drilled later.
  • Schools, hospitals and offices that cannot easily close rooms for drilling.

It cannot be installed under a finished floor. For existing buildings see post-construction termite treatment.

Installation

  1. Design

We plan pipe runs from your drawings: inner plinth walls, partition walls and service entries.

  2. Lay the pipe

Pipes are laid in the levelled soil before soling and flooring, with connectors and end caps.

  3. Filling points

Pipes are led to lockable filling boxes on outer walls.

  4. Charge and test

The system is charged with termiticide, flow to each section is checked, and a layout drawing is handed over.

Combined with soil treatment

A pipe system normally complements, rather than replaces, the initial pre-construction soil treatment. We advise on the best combination for your plan and budget.

Maintenance and monitoring

  • Keep the filling boxes accessible and do not cover them with paving or plaster.
  • Re-treatment timing depends on the product, soil and any termite activity. We keep your layout and treatment records on file.
  • Report any mud tubes or swarmers immediately so the system can be checked.

Safety precautions

  • Filling boxes are closed and labelled to prevent tampering by children.
  • Products are chosen for the target pest and the place being treated, and must be registered or otherwise legally authorised in Pakistan for that use.
  • Every application follows the manufacturer's label: dose, method, site and precautions.
  • Our team wears protective equipment suited to the product and the task.
  • Food, drinking water, utensils, toys, animal feed and aquariums are removed or covered before treatment.
  • Children, pets and other occupants follow the precautions we give for that specific treatment.
  • Re-entry time depends on the product, formulation, ventilation and surface. We tell you on the day, rather than using one fixed time for every job.
  • You receive written post-treatment instructions.

Standards we work to: the WHO guidance on pesticide use for vector and public health pest control, the FAO/WHO International Code of Conduct on Pesticide Management, the WHO hazard classification of pesticides, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles, together with Pakistan’s pesticide law.
